Black is GOLD

i remember growing up, going to America was a GOAL i needed to achieve. But over the years I have grown to FEAR the place. I fear being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Being the fire cracker that I am, i fear saying something that will just piss of the POLICE. We shouldn’t fear the police!!

But then why am I acting that it is SAFE to be in SOUTH AFRICA as a black person. Black people don’t matter anywhere in the world. It is people who aren’t BLACK who are flourishing in a country that they don’t originally belong, yet US the residents of SOUTH AFRICA are outchea struggling AF (have you seen the living conditions at ALEX??). Tuck shops are owned by the indians, pakistanis and chinese, and bear in mind that these people are killing black people when WE go to their countries. LOL.

As a child growing up you are just thinking about taking your family out of the situation that you are living in. we cant even afford the BASIC NEEDS. kids dont go to school because their parents can’t afford to take them and when you get to those government schools there will be 60 kids in one class, how am i gonna learn when there is 59 more minds that are in here w me.

it has never been fair for a black child, NEVER!!!! Our parents go through difficulties making sure that we get to Varsity and when you are done with the course they want 5 years experience, where TF am I gonna get that at the age of 22???????

Thwasa once posted a video which touched most of us in Mzanzi. We are not taught to be leaders, we have forever been tamed and made followers. It’s time we take a stand.

over the years we have seen our fair share of men taking the hip hop game, but then ladies are up next now. rapsody, no-name, leah lenea, to name a few are mos def up next.

When i have fears

When I have fears that I may cease to be

   Before my pen has gleaned my teeming brain,

Before high-pilèd books, in charactery,

   Hold like rich garners the full ripened grain;

When I behold, upon the night’s starred face,

   Huge cloudy symbols of a high romance,

And think that I may never live to trace

   Their shadows with the magic hand of chance;

And when I feel, fair creature of an hour,

   That I shall never look upon thee more,

Never have relish in the faery power

   Of unreflecting love—then on the shore

Of the wide world I stand alone, and think

Till love and fame to nothingness do sink. ~ John Keats

Do not

i have come to realise that in life you dont have to force anything.

  • Don’t force people to understand you
  • Don’t force any type of relationship with anyone
  • Don’t force love, loyalty and respect in anyone

if you get to be able to live your life without any expectations, you will lead a happier life.
